Differences between Active and Passive occurrences and Status codes:

Active Applications (APS)

On setup the user can choose which of the following statuses will appear on the "Dashboard" page of the Applications (APS) app.

Passive Applications (APV)

All statuses appear on the "Dashboard" page of the Applications (APV) app. Learn more about Passive Applications.

Custom Statuses

If you're sending your applications in via API, you can add custom statuses by assigning the status shortcode directly to an application. Please note, while these can still be used in the manners outlined above, they will not show on the Applications Dashboard.
