Be careful. Student CRM only works with a single session per browser. It might behave unpredictably when you have two or more tabs open on Student CRM at the same time. In some situations you won't be allowed to save your changes if your session detects another occurrence open.

Open using incognito or private browsing

If you do need to have two different pages open, log in with a second session in a completely different browser or in private browsing session (such as an incognito window in Chrome). This will reduce the possibility of any problems cropping up.
