How to add a video to a Campaign or Touchpoint

You can use the video option in Easy Builder to embed a video widget that plays the video in YouTube or Vimeo when clicked from an email.

Please note: You can use share links from YouTube or Vimeo.

From the content types, select "Video":

Use the configuration settings to automatically pull in the thumbnail and overlay with the correct 'play' icon, set alt text, change the thumbnail transparency, and change the bottom link if required (for example, if the video is embedded on a page on your website):

For 'Classic' templates or within a touchpoint

You will need third-party tools to take the first frame of your video and put a "Play" button in the centre, or create an animated GIF.

Q. Why doesn't a link from Video Service X work?

A. We've chosen the two biggest video sharing sites to start with. If you need another, let customer support know and we can look into adding it.

Q. Is it possible to add videos directly into email campaigns or touchpoints?

A. No, many email clients consider it to be a security risk so won't display them.
