Track the progression of potential collaborations with your partner schools

In Contact Manager, an opportunity represents a potential collaborative or partnership with another educational institution or school. The opportunity tracks the progression of this potential collaboration from initial idea through to planning, negotiation, and final agreement or partnership.

Essentially, it’s like identifying a school that the university wants to team up with for some mutual benefit. The CRM then helps manage all the details about this budding partnership - like the goals of the collaboration, the main contacts at the partner school, how promising the partnership is, and key milestones along the way. This allows the university to systematically approach, develop, and nurture these relationships with partner schools, enhancing the collaborative benefits for both parties.

When a Lead becomes an Opportunity

Some of the Leads generated (when people complete your CTM web forms) will be simple to deal with, others may need to be added to an Opportunity, so you can track all the way from beginning to end.

Example: a Lead arrives saying “’we want a closer working relationship between our school and your University”, so you communicate and decide they could be a new partner school but now need to go through several steps in your onboarding process - meeting, planning, events calendar, materials, etc.

This is all managed in the new Opportunity you create. Track progress, maintain momentum, let your team see who is waiting for you. Opportunities let you stay super organised whilst giving you an overview of the status of all new partner schools you are onboarding.
