When you're setting up a grab from one app to another you can select "Dynamic" or "Static" as the "Type". Each one does a different action:
Static grabs are one-offs that only affect the data that is present at the time of execution
Dynamic grabs are repeating grabs that continuously execute on all incoming data until they're manually cancelled.
Dynamic grabs, (for example an event Invite List), run every ten minutes between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Sunday. This means that a student who enters an occurrence with a dynamic grab set up will be scooped up by that grab at a maximum of 16 hours later.
For example, if the student record enters the app at 16:45, they will be scooped up before 17:00. If the record enters the app at 17:10, then they will be grabbed by approximately 9:10 the next morning.
