The Enquiries app can automatically notify you by email when new enquiries arrive in any Category.

With one click it takes you to the correct category in the correct Enquiries occurrence:

Example: in the screenshot below we have 9 categories:

Each category (let's say we are looking at the category 'Marketing') always listens out for:

  1. Any new enquiry where the student selected 'Marketing' on your enquiry web form.

  2. Any existing enquiry where the officer in your Enquiries team has reassigned it, from the previous category, to 'Marketing'.

  3. Any existing enquiry where the officer in a different Enquiries team has reassigned it, from the previous category in a different occurrence say 'International Enquiries', to 'Marketing' in your 'UK Enquiries' occurrence.

How frequently can it send out notifications?

You select the frequency in the Setup. By default it is set to 'Never' but we would recommend setting it to 'Emails every 10 mins' so you stay on top of things:

Will it just jam up my in-box all the time?

It only sends you notifications emails for enquiries it has not previously notified you about. It will never notify you twice about the same enquiry, but you can always reduce the frequency if it gets a bit too much (and by the way well done on generating all those student enquiries!!!).

Can each category go to its own email?

Yes, you can set each category up with a different email address to get notified, in fact, each one can have up to 5 emails:

Where can I set this up?

See the Setup tab in Enquiries and use the following tabs:

Q. Want to find out more about the Setup tab?

A. See this article.
