How to ensure your students can fill out their address even when Delivery method is hidden

Please note:

In the event you're NOT hiding the delivery method, this condition is not required at all. If the address block is present on the form, it will automatically appear when the option "Both" or "Postal" are selected with no conditions required.

Sometimes you may want to have the Delivery Method on a Prospectus Request form hidden, but still have the address fields be present.

There are many reason for this:

  • Perhaps you only have downloadable prospectuses, but still want students to fill out a postcode

  • Or you only offer physical prospectuses which need an address, but don't want to show the radio button.

In these cases, you need to set a condition on the address block to show when your Delivery Method is a hidden value.

The values available are:

  • For "Both" use "B"

  • For "Postal" use "P"

  • For "Download" use "D"

In the example below, the hidden Delivery Method is set to "Both", so this is the condition that you'd place on the Address Block.
