  • You can add as many Rating Scales into one survey as you like.

  • Each Rating Scale can have up to 11 values on the scale, and an unlimited number of items (see examples below)

Create a Rating Scale with these 3 settings:

  • Question - a short and unambiguous question is best.

  • Scale Values: separate by commas (max 11).

  • Items: each one on a new line (as many as you like).

Languages example:

The Rating Scale below comprises 3 elements:

  • Question; "Which languages do you speak?"

  • Scale Values: from "Advanced" to "None" (in 4 steps).

  • Item: “Spanish” to “Urdu” (19 items).

(TIP: Rating Scales look great inside a 'Box', as it contains everything in one place.)

A Rating Scale is sometimes referred to as a satisfaction scale as it is ideal for evaluating customer satisfaction with a product or service. For example:

Customer Satisfaction example:

The Rating Scale below comprises 3 elements:

  • Question; "Q. How satisfied are you with:".

  • Scale Values: from "Very dissatisfied" up to "Very satisfied" (in 5 steps)

  • Items: "Meals", "Service", etc... (5 items)

NPS (Net Promoter Score) example:

The Rating Scale below comprises 3 elements:

  • Question; "How likely are you to recommend us to a friend or colleague?"

  • Scale Values: from "0" to "10" (in 11 steps).

  • Item: "Likelihood" (1 item).

FAQs

Q. How is each answer stored?

A. Like this Q = "Which languages do you speak?", A = "English - Advanced"

Q. Can it display long values and items?

A. There is no limit on the length of values or items, however, it's best to check that it looks good and is easy to complete first. If it looks odd, try making the values and items short.
