There are two types of form created on the CRM:

  • DIY (Do it yourself)

  • Managed

DIY forms are those created by your users in Web Form Builder. This is a very powerful tool and can help you produce millions* of different forms. Please get in touch if there's anything you're unsure about while building your forms. The CS team will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Managed forms are either old forms made before the advent of DIY forms or complex forms such as those with conditional logic. If you have a simple legacy form that you'd like to try making DYI, go for it!

To request an amendment to a Managed form:

The Support team here at Student CRM will assist with any changes you need to make to your managed forms. Just log into Student CRM and start a new conversation with us. It's very helpful if you can provide the URL of the form and take a screenshot of the form, showing us where you'd like changes made.

If you need any assistance in taking a screenshot please click here.

If the changes to the form are more complex or you want a brand new form, please contact us with the full requirements. We will need to put together a more formal requirements document for you to sign off.

Below are a couple of examples of how you can show us what you need in a screenshot:

Please show us exactly which fields you'd like removed, or where any extra fields should appear. If you have any other special requirements, such as making a field compulsory, we ask these are also provided in the initial request.

Please note the option to amend Applicant Open Day, Event Manager and Pre-applicant Open Day forms is very limited. You are unable to remove any of the current fields. However, it may be possible to add in a custom field. Please contact us to discuss further if any amendment is needed for one of these forms.

* Maybe not millions, but quite a lot.
