There are two ways to add a photo to a person’s record. First way is to let it automatically upload the photo associated with that person's email address as you type in. If the email address you type in has a Gravatar.com account, it automatically uploads their photo. This happens within a few seconds of typing in the email address, so if no photo appears, you can choose to add a photo manually. (Once you have uploaded a photo manually, the Gravatar auto-upload is disabled.)

To upload your own photograph of a person, you must have that photograph on your computer as an image file. It must be square and no smaller than 240 x 240 pixels. It can be bigger as long as it is square.

While editing a person or Organisation's information, click the ‘camera’ icon underneath the photo. It will ask you to locate the photo on your desktop and upload it. It will upload instantly* and is saved when you save that person’s information.

As more and more people are comfortable publishing their own photos online, this information is usually quite easy to find using Facebook or LinkedIn or other social networking sites.

Users have found that it helps them to create a more intimate and deeper relationship when contacting somebody if they can see a photo of who they are contacting.

*Please note that big photos (bigger than 240 x 240 pixels) can take a few seconds longer to appear, as they are will be automatically scaled down to so they don't slow everything down later on. Also, if you upload an image that is not square it will not display correctly and you'll need to replace it with a square image.
