Cloning a Touchpoint

Make backups or newer versions of your best Touchpoints

Cloning a Touchpoint is an incredibly useful feature of our Touchpont set-up. For example, you've got an amazing Touchpoint from last year, and all you need to do is amend a few details to make it ready for this year. 

Simply click the Clone icon as shown above.

Next, click "yes" when asked to confirm, and you'll generate a new draft Touchpoint, identical to the old one.

This is automatically named as "COPY OF xyz", but you could change this to "backup" or "2019 version", for example. 

We also recommend cloning a Touchpoint that you want to edit some part of, and naming it "Back up of XYZ". This means that you always have a copy to refer back to, should something go wrong with the edited version.

To 'clone' touchpoints between workflows or occurrences, you can use the "source" button to copy the full HTML code of the email:
