Help students see their current bookings on your open days and reduce duplicate bookings

TIP: To enable this feature it must be switched on in Pre-App Open Days Setup > Form > Appearance.

Super Quick Set-up

  1. Pick a TPB template (must have been shared with your POD occurrence in Template Builder).

  2. Set your From Name and From Email.

  3. Enter your Subject, ie: "Your bookings reminder email"

No more accidental duplicate bookings

As soon as your POD booking form detects a known email from an existing booking for the same event, it offers to send the original bookings to the student so they can continue with their old booking:

(They could ignore that and still create another booking if they wanted.)

When a student can't find their original booking confirmation email to see their booking ref, they can get a reminder:

Immediate email reminders help the student log in to the "I have a booking" page and continue with their booking:

FAQs

Q. Will this stop students from creating duplicate bookings?

A. No, but it will reduce the amount of duplicate bookings.

Q. Can I change the core wording in the reminder email?

A. No - this is a system email shared by all establishments. You can amend everything around the core information by making use of a template.

Q. I can't see my template in the list.

A. Ensure that your template is published in a collection shared with Pre-App Open Days, and that collection is published. See here for more instructions on sharing templates with apps.
