The POD Programme explained

The final step of a booking is where the student sees the programme they have just built for the day. The programme is generated using a combination of their selections, and your settings.

This is what a programme comprises:

1 - Programme page title

  • About: You choose the title of this 'Programme' page from the booking form.

  • Example: "My Programme".

  • Display: optional, you can choose to leave this empty or set it.

  • Set it: POD > Setup > Form tab > 6. My Programme

2 - Booking details

  • About: Who has booked which event, how many people are in their party, and the booking ref.

  • Example: "Dom Yeadon, 10 Jun 2027, Business and Management BSc (Hons), 10, 4960303"

  • Display: always appears.

  • Set it: (automatically uses student's booking details).

3 - QR Code

  • About: Students present this upon arrival on the day, to be scanned in.

  • Example: n/a

  • Display: always appears.

  • Set it: (automatically generated for student's booking).

4 - Programme header text

  • About: You choose the text that appears at the top of this 'Programme' page from the booking form.

  • Example: "Please arrive a few minutes early for each event, thank you."

  • Display: optional, you can choose to leave this empty or set it.

  • Set it: POD > Dates > Edit this Open Day

5 - Programme faculty event text

  • About: Appears for everybody who booked onto this faculty's events.

  • Example: "All Business Faculty events are near refreshment areas."

  • Display: Optional, you can choose to leave this empty or set it.

  • Set it: POD > Setup > Faculty Events tab > Edit this faculty event

6 - Programme timetable

  • About: An auto-generated timetable of the day's activities.

  • Example: Items are always sorted by time of day. The example below happens to show each Day Activity listed above any Faculty Activity, but you can choose to run activities in any order:

  • Display: always appears.

  • Set it: (automatically uses student's booking details)

7 - Programme course info text

  • About: This is course-specific text.

  • Example: "This course is the only one that we provide onsite and remotely".

  • Display: optional, you can choose to leave this empty or set it.

  • Set it: POD > Setup > Course Texts tab > Edit this course info text

8 - Programme course group text

  • About: This text is for all the courses in one Course Group.

  • Example: "These courses all require outdoor gear on the Open Day"

  • Display: optional, you can choose to leave this empty or set it.

  • Set it: POD > Setup > Course Groups tab > Edit this course group,

9 - Programme footer text

  • About: You choose the text that appears at the bottom of this 'Programme' page from the booking form.

  • Example: "For more info on how to get here, click here"

  • Display: optional, you can choose to leave this empty or set it.

  • Set it: POD > Open Days tab > Edit this event

Sending personalised timetables in POD Touchpoints

Use these merge fields in this order:

This will produce the same content merged into each Touchpoint, that the student sees on their final Booking Form page (see main image above).
