Slow release is a feature within the Applicant Open Days and Pre-App Open Days apps that allow you to fill up activity time slots in time order. This means that the first time slot on the day will fill up before the next time slot is released.

Imagine you had a 'Registration' activity. The first time slot is 9:00am for 30 minutes, and the second time slot is 10:00am for 30 minutes.

By turning on Slow Release, the 9:00am time slot will be filled with students. When there are only 10 spaces left in the 9:00am time slot, the 10:00am time slot will become available to book onto. This means that you can ensure you don't end up with half empty time slots spread throughout the day, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities on your open day!
