How do I create an On The Day Booking?

Work around those students who don't book ahead

On The Day bookings are used when students don't pre-book your open day, and just turn up on the day. The CRM allows you to create On The Day bookings for these students so that they can be included in your attendance figures and receive the Open Day Attended touchpoints.

To create an On The Day booking, you search through all invited students and then create an On The Day booking for one. Or if the student wasn't invited, you can create a new booking and enter the student's details to create a new record in the CRM for that student.

 To create an On The Day booking:

  1. Open the Pre-App Open Days app

  2. Click the 'magnifying glass' icon for the open day you wish to add On The Day booking to

  3. Click the Attendees tab

  4. Search for the student using the Search tools

  5. Find the student in the results list and click the 'plus person' icon

  6. Enter the Level of Study and Course of Interest for the student

  7. Click the Save button.

The On The Day booking will now be created and the student will be given the Attended status.

Please be aware 'On the day' bookings will join your Attended Workflow immediately and may trigger any Touchpoints you have set up for Attended Status.

If you search for a student, but they are not present in the results, you can use the New Booking button to create a new booking and student record in the CRM.

Required Fields for an On The Day Booking:

  • Year of study

  • Level of study

  • Course name

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Mobile Phone number
