Student CRM runs on a type of modular, interconnecting database.

You could think of it like a office. Each app has its own room, but they share many common areas such as Courses and Subjects, Student database or Campaign Manager.

Data can flow between the common areas of our metaphorical office. Some rooms can share data (for example, Applications and Applicant Open Days), however many rooms are too far apart to share their data easily.

This is also the reason that some fields are unavailable as Touchpoint Conditions or in In-App searches.

If you're interested in learning more about the data structure of the Platform, the Field Finder tool can help you locate specific fields and examine the table it resides on.
