On step 4 "Your Details" you can choose to collect the academic fields: Year of Entry, level of Study, Campus and Course by ticking "Display" on these checkboxes:
Why is this useful?
Calendar Bookings:
When you publish events in your Events Calendar (see how), your students choose one event from the calendar and book straight onto it as the Calendar uses the event's Direct URL, ie: https://crm.student-crm.com/e/nfu/da/uk-student-events/fest as opposed to the event's Stream URL: https://crm.student-crm.com/e/nfu/da/uk-student-events
On the "Your Details" page is where you can now (optionally) collect those academic fields: Year of Entry, level of Study, Campus and Course.
Calendar uses the Direct URL
Tip: if you want each Cal link to go to a single event, make sure each event's Grouping is set to "Don't Group Event":

Q. Where can I see the Academic fields collected during booking?
A. You can see them on the booking card in EVM, also in the Student's Record Card in the Student Database (SDB) app.
Q. If the student books on via the Stream URL, can they see and change their academic fields later on the "Your details" page?
A. They can see them on the "Your details" page, but they can't edit them there. To edit them they simply click 'Back'.
Q. Why does an Event Calendar use the event's Stream Link?
A. Because the student has visually selected their preferred event and does not need to go though entering the academic fields: Year of Entry, level of Study, Campus and Course to find the event. These bookings skip the "Find An Event" page on the booking form (where all the academic fields are usually collected) and show the chosen event on the "Choose an event" page.
Q. Why isn't the Occupation field displaying on my form?
A. In order to have the Occupation showing, your event must have a Registration Type selected which is in addition to "Student":
