For each Course Group that will be able to book onto an Open Day Date, you will need to create an Event.
To create an Event:
Go to Setup
Click the Events tab
Click the Add Event button
Select the Open Day Date for your Event
Select the Course Group for your Event
Fill in the required information. See below for a description of each piece of information
Click the Save button.
Your Event will now be saved. You will need to repeat this process for each Course Group that will be able to book onto your Open Day.
The information required when setting up an Event is:
Event Capacity (P) - The total number of people who can book for this Event, e.g. “400”. The ‘(P)’ denotes party capacity, meaning this number includes both students and guests.
Programme Text - This is text that appears on the student’s personalised programme at the end of the booking process, e.g. “The Business faculty will be giving you a tour, so bring a coat...”.

Removing Events
If you don't want to remove an event entirely, you can tick the "Close Invite" check box.
To remove an Event completely, you will first need to cancel any bookings already on the event. The system will not let you delete the even until this is the case.
Next, set the Event's Status to Draft and not Approved, and finally delete it.
