In Applicant Open Days app there is a feature called Orphaned Courses to help you identify any courses that you have missed out of your Course Groups. This is particularly useful if have a long course list and lots of Course Groups.

This is a feature available to Super Users who are responsible for setting up Applicant Open Days.

  1. In the Applicant Open Days App, click on Setup

  2. Then click on the Course Groups tab

  3. In the drop down list - select Orphaned Courses

  4. A list of all the courses that are not in a Course Group are listed.

Troubleshooting why an Orphaned Course isn't showing in the list of available courses to add

For a course to show up in the "Add Courses from List", it must fulfil strict criteria:

  • The Course must have either a Course Code or UCAS Course Code

  • The Course must be published (ie, set to Live)

  • The Course must be in the correct Year of Entry for that occurrence (ie, if the occurrence is set for 2020 or 2021 years of entry, the course must be for either of those years)

  • The Course must match the Faculty of the course group

Please check if your courses match these criteria. If they do and are still not showing up in the "Add Courses from List", please get in touch.
