The Applications app is used for managing the educational application process in an efficient way.

Passive Applications is one way of using the Applications app (the other is Active Applications and uses a web form to create the application).

In Passive Application Occurrences, Applicant data can be:

  • sent to Student CRM from your Student Record/ Information System via a data feed using Passive Applications API. It's most often used in conjunction with UCAS Applications.

  • manually uploaded from a CSV via the Data Importer tool.

There are three main ways to use Passive Applications:

  1. To send automated communications to an applicant about an application using Workflows and Touchpoints.

  2. To send ad hoc communications to an applicant about an application using Segments and Campaigns.

  3. Send the applicant an invitation to an Applicant Open Day using Invite Lists.
